Delete your Latchwork data

Latchwork is a game by PortosLabs (Vladimir Strycek). This page explains how to delete the data stored for the optional leaderboard.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Latchwork.
  2. Go to Settings, then Leaderboard.
  3. Choose Delete my online data.

If your phone is offline, the request is queued and sent automatically when the server can be reached.

What is deleted

In one step, the server removes your leaderboard profile (display name, player ID and the stored hash of your secret), all your Daily and best runs, and every name report you made or received.

Cloudflare's short database recovery history and server logs can still hold copies until they expire on Cloudflare's schedule; the privacy policy explains this.

What stays on your phone

Your games, history, streaks, stats, achievements and settings are stored only on your phone and are not affected. To remove them too, delete the app.

If you no longer have the app or phone

Reinstalling the app or losing your phone also loses your leaderboard identity, so the app can no longer delete that data. In that case, email [email protected] with your display name and roughly when you last played. Latchwork has no accounts and no identity-verification system, so these requests are handled manually.

No other data to delete

Latchwork has no accounts, no email sign-up, no ads and no purchases. If you never joined the leaderboard, the game has sent us no data about you.
